Shows and Displays

Throughout the year, we take part in local shows, giving displays of obedience and handling.
The club regularly exhibits in various shows including Newark (Nottinghamshire) Show,  The Robin Hood Show and All About Dogs (Newark).
The club normally uses two rings: in one there will be Have a Go Agility which has  courses for those who have some agility experience and for  beginners  with smaller equipment.  In the other ring there will usually be  Have a Go Flyball set up.  We also run  Have a go at  Obedience competitions and Fun Dog Show events.
Whatever we provide we always have lots and lots of the public wanting to try things with their dogs
We also perform group obedience displays, mainly at smaller fetes and galas such as Hickling, Laxton and Balderton. A team  (which changes every time due to availability of members) performs some basic obedience work together and also some fun tricks and obedience skills individually.
Taking part in either of these kinds of events is very enjoyable although sometimes exhausting.
We displayed, or are displaying at the following shows during 2016:

April 24th/25th - The All About Dogs Show at the Newark Showground - Flyball - Fun Dog Show - Obedience Tests - Agility

May 14th/15thth - Nottinghamshire County Show at the Newark Showground - Have a Go Agility - Flyball

August 21st - Adoption for Pets Funday at the Newark Showground - have a Go Agility - Flyball - Fun Dog Show
